The most serious argument condemning scratchers is the lack of accountability when it comes to sterilization. When equipment isn’t sterilized correctly there exists a chance of acquiring diseases such as Hep C, Hep B, AIDS, tuberculosis and other blood borne diseases.
Unfortunately, it’s probably a small percentage of scratchers practicing bad sterilization habits but all scratchers must face the bad reputation.
